This is just a rant about it ... well 10 years ago . this car would be an automatic choice for most of the folks in malaysia and your fellow neighbour and relative will cry foul if you bought any other. 5 years ago you would still need to explain why you didnt buy a Camry or a Accord if you buy other cars.
Today - or yesterday to be exact i was happily washing my car when my neighbour lean over the fence for a chit chat on cars. He scoff off that the high Toyota resale value is no longer high. Funny thing is as we chat on - he did not mention what is his next car. Then I ask the inevitable ... "What is your next car?"
"Err .. i go and tested volkswagen, golf, passat etc ... none of them seems to be good. You know Im working as Sales so it is pretty inconvenient for me to spend time on the car i bought and so forth - a lot of yada yada yada ....and the end - I bought the new Camry"
